SJMC has been operating in the Whanganui region for over 36 years, providing high quality and reliable healthcare for our patients.

We are a RNZCGP CORNERSTONE and FOUNDATION accredited practice, a member of the WRPHN and offer a wide range of services provided by our resident General Practitioners, Dr Satya Prakash (MBChB (Otago), FRNZCGP), Dr Asha Prakash (BSc, MBChB (Otago), PGCertTravMed, FRNZCGP), Dr Parteshma Chand (MBChB (Otago), FRNZCGP, PGdipOMG), Dr Priya Beeharree (MD 2010 Oradea), Dr Harshitha Jain (MBChB) and our Registered Nurses Breena, Skye and Shaylee.

We are an eMedical-NZ Immigration enabled clinic and are available for immigration services. We are also a designated doctor for the Ministry of Social Development.

Our services include minor surgeries, liquid nitrogen therapy, vaccinations, smears, ECG recordings, maternity care, counselling and Immigration NZ medical assessments. We are also doing mole mapping.
